I appreciate the author's use of factual data to make his points, presenting the subject matter in a methodical way, using statistical evidence and economic analysis."

5-stars ***** "This book dives deep into the social and economic rifts between generations, delivering a much-needed wake-up call. Harrison doesn’t just skim the surface of why young people today are struggling with skyrocketing rents and bleak economic prospects."

4-stars ****  "Baby boomers and the politicians they voted in have messed up the future, our future, and have left us behind to suffer the consequences for it, except the reality is more grave, pernicious and callous than this alone sounds."

5-stars *****"It is quite apparent how much effort the author put into this work to make sure that each and every bit of information is backed up by data from various trusted sources. The book is filled with easy-to-read charts and graphs and backed by numbers to make the point as clear as can be."

5-stars ***** "As a boomer in my early 60s I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy all the advantages outlined for my generation Including free university and generous public sector pension provision whilst my generation Z children will have none of this."

5-stars ***** "The author says that a vast portion of the nation's wealth are controlled by these baby boomers, who have the audacity to claim that the generations after them have things easier than they did in their time."

4-stars **** "Absolutely vindicating."

5-stars ***** "Without a doubt, "Intergenerational Theft" shows us a critical analysis of contemporary economic policies and the consequences of these choices for younger generations, drawing attention to the need for a balance."

4-stars **** "What hit me most is how he said governments keep pandering to older voters by giving them stuff like the “triple lock” on pensions while we get student loans and insane rent. I felt like the book was calling out the exact scam we are living in. I also liked that it wasn’t just ranting but it gave solutions and even some hope, like if young people actually vote more and push for fairness, so that gave me a bit of optimism."

5-stars ***** “Intergenerational Theft, by Daniel Anthony Harrison, talks about how UK government policy biases have made baby boomers undeservingly rich by stealing from younger generations in a simple and easy to read manner. Hence, I would definitely recommended this book for everyone. It’s a must read.”

5-stars ***** "If you're between 25 and 35 years old, this book is essential to understanding why you don’t own a home. I felt a tremendous sense of despair upon realizing that the current economic reality prevents those under 40 from buying their own property. The book helped me see this generational inequality and made me appreciate my financial journey so far, but it also highlighted that most young people are in debt and see no prospects for change."

5-stars ***** "The author did a perfect job of diving into this intergenerational inequality despite having to face resistance from parties that would not benefit from the exposure of such a topic, as it is a prominent problem that needs to be addressed before it is too late."

5-stars ***** "This is a well evidenced book of why the current generation are experiencing a tougher start in life than previous generations did. The facts are plain, UK governments of both colours have sold the family silver and pawned the children's futures."

4-stars ****  "A great book to reflect on reality.”

5-stars ***** "Eye-opening Explanation of Government Policy."

5-stars ***** "A graphic book on the violent disparity of intergenerational theft."

4-stars **** "As a teenager I don’t normally care about pensions or national debt but this book kept showing me in simple numbers why my life feels harder than what my parents had. The author breaks down how baby boomers could buy a house at 4x their salary while now it’s 8x and both partners have to work just to survive, and I was like yeah that explains why everyone I know is either renting forever or still stuck with their parents."

5-stars *****  “Harrison's data-driven approach provides compelling evidence of systemic intergenerational injustice, making this work an essential read for those concerned about economic equity and the future financial well-being of younger and forthcoming generations.”

4-stars **** "An economic analysis showing the hyperinflation suffered in the UK, which has affected citizens' quality of life and their ability to purchase a home. The author points to the baby boomer generation, those born between 1946 and 1964, as being responsible for the decline, accompanied by deficient government systems. Foreign debt is increasingly falling on citizens' salaries and the outlook is bleak."

5-stars ***** "What makes this book particularly compelling is its accessible style. Complex economic issues are explained in a way that ordinary readers can follow, without oversimplifying the gravity of the problem. Harrison also addresses the psychological and social consequences for young people, such as delayed life milestones, mental health strain, and the widening wealth gap."

5-stars ***** "The Intergenerational Theft by Daniel Anthony Harrison is an eye-opening nonfiction book that critically explained the many reasons for the endless struggles and economic challenges of the younger generation in the United Kingdom."

5-stars ***** "insightful and Bourdieu would agree."

4-stars **** "Intergenerational Theft" is like being slapped with reality. It bluntly shows that young people's lives today have become much harder than our parents': buying a house has become nearly impossible, starting a family requires enormous sacrifices, and even simple achievements seem increasingly distant. What's most striking is that it's not about bad luck or misfortune, but about choices made long ago, which benefited some and ended up weighing on others. It's a revolting read, but at the same time it helps us better understand why so many people feel trapped in an unfair system."

5-stars ***** "This book shows how the government's policies have made it extremely difficult for younger generations to achieve their life goals. All of the points are supported by data. The book shows how economic policies unreasonably provide wealth to baby boomers. It's insightful and eye-opening."

5-stars *****  "This book incisively critiques policies favoring older generations, revealing how they deepen economic divides and calling for youthful political activism."

5-stars ***** “Everyone should be reading this book because it is insightful and revealing, and can help in decision making.”

5-stars ***** "Future generations!"

5-stars ***** "Intergenerational Theft by Daniel Anthony Harrison is a powerful and well-researched book that challenges the myth of rising living standards in the UK. Using detailed economic analysis, the author demonstrates how younger generations—Generation X, Millennials, and Gen Z—are worse off than baby boomers, with the scale of injustice estimated at £15 trillion."

4-stars **** "Best book on the subject I've read so far."

5-stars ***** "A Wake-Up Call on Intergenerational Injustice"

5-stars ***** "Interesting!"

5-stars ***** "Great book!"

5-stars ***** "An eye opener."

5-stars ***** "What do you think your future is like? The author gives us an interesting view how our future has been robbed of us by government policies. This is all done to ensure that the politicians are re-elected again. How do we overcome this? The author explains all of this in his story. I loved reading the book."

5-stars ***** "Although the book is focused on the UK, many of its insights resonate internationally, wherever younger generations struggle against entrenched systems that favor the old. Some readers may find the tone confrontational, but the evidence presented is clear and difficult to ignore."

4-stars **** "Honestly, when I read this book, I saw its brilliance. It perfectly explains to young people why our future looks so bleak due to current and recent policies, as well as the baby boom phenomenon our elders are part of, and how we can fix it."

5-stars ***** "Intergenerational theft speaks of the wrongs that the baby boomers did to the young ones, the generation after them. It categorically states that these baby boomers had the opportunity of wealth in their time, and then they made rules, or should I say, policies that would favor only them, and kick out the interests of the generations after them."

5-stars ***** "A Sobering Look at Generational Inequity."

5-stars ***** "In conclusion, Intergenerational Theft is essential reading for anyone who wants to understand the economic challenges facing young people today. It is bold, eye-opening, and offers a roadmap for reclaiming a fairer future."

5-stars *****  "This non-fiction book offers an insightful view of the vast wealth and opportunities offered to the older generation post World War 2, and compares it to that of the younger generation in the United Kingdom."

4-stars **** "I very much enjoyed the author's passion and feel that this elevated the book brilliantly.”

5-stars ***** “This book throws light and exposes the injustice that the younger generation in the world, especially in the UK have faced. The standard of living has drastically dropped from the baby boomer generation, to the millennials, and so on.“

5-stars ***** "Amazingly insightful book which truly handles the wage gap and generational wealth issues in the UK from a systemic and global approach. Of course not all Baby Boomers benefited from the system that led us to today, however this book takes into account general trends and not individual stories. Amazing book, highly recommend."

5-stars ***** "This is a good book. Intergenerational theft is real and I'm glad the author and to bring it to life by turning it into a book. It's a must read read for younger generations."

5-stars ***** "Intergenerational Theft is a great book for anyone seeking to understand the economic challenges facing younger generations in the UK. It's a powerful, thought-provoking call to action for fairness and change."

5-stars ***** "Really eye-opening read! Harrison brilliantly details how generation after generation of boomers have etched those economic and political landscapes in ways that put younger generations at a disadvantage. From employment to voting disparities, the points on financial inequalities hit home."

5-stars ***** "This is a powerful book that shows how economic policies have created a massive financial burden for younger generations. With well-researched arguments and clear explanations, the author exposes the long-term consequences of government decisions that prioritize short-term gains over future stability. This book is a must-read for anyone concerned about economic justice, and the financial future of younger generations."

5-stars ***** "There is no better deserving title for this book than the given title —"Intergenerational Theft."

5-stars ***** "Intergenerational Theft" by Daniel Harrison is an insightful and informative book that explores the intergenerational disparity between baby boomers and younger generations in terms of overall living conditions and how policies made in favour of the older generations left the younger ones suffering from the cost of living crisis in the UK.”

4-stars **** “Intergenerational Theft is an amazing book that talks about how the economy has changed over time, making life harder for younger generations—I would say, like me.“

5-stars ***** It is quite apparent how much effort the author put into this work to make sure that each and every bit of information is backed up by data from various trusted sources. The book is filled with easy-to-read charts and graphs and backed by numbers to make the point as clear as can be.”

4-stars **** The book also breaks down common arguments made by older people, like "young people just need to work harder," and proves them wrong with facts.”

4-stars **** “I learned more about how pensions, national debt, and the housing market have been set up in a way that takes money from younger workers to pay for older people’s benefits, and I found this so ridiculous.”

4-stars **** “Another likable aspect is that it doesn’t just complain—it also offers ideas on how things could be made fairer. There's so much passion in the tone of the book because it’s obvious the author really cares about making life better for future generations. 5-stars ***** 'Intergenerational Theft' by Daniel Harrison explains how the trillion pounds spent by the UK government in formulating biased policy made the Baby Boomers rich at the expense of Generation X, Generation Y, Generation Z, and future generations.“

5-stars ***** “The author did a perfect job of diving into this intergenerational inequality despite having to face resistance from parties that would not benefit from the exposure of such a topic, as it is a prominent problem that needs to be addressed before it is too late.”

5-stars ***** “I was impressed by how the author supported his arguments with a wealth of data, including tables, graphs, and charts, illustrating how various policies, such as tax cuts for the wealthy or inadequate investment in public services, have led to a growing divide between age groups.”

5-stars ***** 'Intergenerational Theft' is an exceptional economic book. The messages in the book are very detailed and insightful. I like the book because of the quality of research by the author.”

5-stars ***** “What I liked most about this book is that the author does not shy away from calling out the elephant in the room, as he terms it: baby boomers, especially politicians, landed elites, and mass media, for the false narrative surrounding the cost of living crisis, particularly regarding their interest in "housing costs continually rising."

5-stars ***** it was eye-opening for me as the author compared the experiences of baby boomers and young people, demonstrating that the baby boomer generation experienced the highest standard of living in human history. On the other hand, the young generation born in the 1990s continues to experience lower standards of living despite holding more high-skilled jobs, with housing costs tripling, fewer lifetime employment opportunities due to qualifications and four-stage interviews, and incurring £2.5 trillion in national debt. Milestones such as buying a home and starting a family are delayed, along with many other challenges.”

4-stars **** The system that steals from young people receives essential exposure through this necessary book.”

5-stars ***** "I award this book 5 out of 5 for its bold stance on an often-overlooked issue. I commend the author for his ability to provoke thought and inspire dialogue among readers from various backgrounds, as this issue is not only in the UK but a global one.”

5-stars ***** "The quantitative comparison between housing costs spanning a full lifetime shows that Baby Boomers paid £150,230 while younger individuals will pay £521,406 (SVR) after adjusting for 2022 prices, revealing an immense economic gap between generations. The information presented in this section hit home because it confirmed the housing concerns I share with my peers about obtaining property ownership, which previous generations seemed to obtain automatically.”

4-stars **** “The author took on the foreseeable negative attitudes of older generations about criticism and systematically defeated each one. Through elegant reasoning, the author discredited every single response from the older generation, including the familiar ‘We had it tough’ and ‘You'll obtain our wealth someday’ and the outrageous ‘We provided you with the smartphone’.”

5-stars ***** Harrison supports his statements with concrete evidence, including economic analysis, government reports, and rigorous referencing, making it difficult for critics to dispute his main argument. The book maintains credibility through its meticulous research, which demonstrates serious engagement with a topic that usually receives anecdotal treatment. The structured approach, which tackles various elements of intergenerational inequality, proves highly effective for building a thorough and convincing argument.”

4-stars **** “The author expertly states, "Older generations transferred the actual costs from their subsidized energy bills to future generations who must bear the enormous financial burden of these consequences."

This book goes beyond being a normal volume because it offers an urgent message to readers. It deserves strong recommendations to youth experiencing economic pressure, economics and political science students, and people who care about social justice and the future of the UK. This book has transformed fundamental aspects of my worldview because it generates crucial dialogues, which should eventually result in purposeful transformation.”

4-stars **** When I realized that pensions function through an unfunded solution named “pay as you go,” it caused another gut punch because older generations depend on younger generations to support the system. My contributions to national insurance appeared to vanish without a trace while I paid to satisfy older generations' debts.“

5-stars ***** “Intergenerational Theft by Daniel Anthony Harrison is an eye-opening and enlightening book that brings to light the reasons for the endless struggles and economic challenges of the younger generation in the United Kingdom.”

4-stars **** One of my shocking findings is that pensions are totally unfunded and are paid out of the present generation's taxes. Also, using the charts on housing vs. earnings, the author explains how housing is way more expensive than it ever used to be.”

5-stars ***** “I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars, and I recommend it to the younger generation as well as people who make government policies.”

4-stars **** “With the knowledge I gained from this book, I now have a clear understanding of the economic forces shaping present-day Britain. Not just Britain, but similar patterns can be seen all over the world. It is clear that the past generation did not just have things easy for them, but they are unfortunately dismissive of the increased financial strain faced by the younger generation.”

Initially, as I started reading the book, I thought it was going to be a boring book, but to my surprise, it's not; it was very educative; it made me understand how the government policies made by the baby boomers have been detrimental to the young generations.”

5-stars ***** "Intergenerational Theft by Daniel Harrison is an eye-opening book that exposes how governments and politicians use economic policies to secure re-election, often without considering the damage these policies cause to ordinary citizens."

5-stars ***** "The meticulous research in the book stands as its most significant positive point. The extensive data collection, together with tables and trustworthy references, significantly supports the arguments Harrison presents in his work. The systematic approach of this book to discuss various aspects of intergenerational theft demonstrates excellence in its structure. This book provides more than random complaints because it develops its points through precise logical structures.”

4-stars **** In conclusion, Intergenerational Theft is a well-researched and thought-provoking book that sheds light on a critical economic issue. It is a must-read for young professionals, policymakers, and anyone interested in understanding the financial realities shaping today's generational divide. While the book's extensive data can be daunting at times, its overall message is clear: without meaningful reform, younger generations will continue to bear an unfair economic burden.”

4-stars **** It offers sharp insights into how certain government policies have been made favorable only to baby boomers and the consequential impact of these past decisions on younger generations today. The book aims to assist the younger generation in understanding the underlying causes of this biased economic system and urges them to take action in order to improve their future.”

5-stars ***** “The book delivers powerful, research-backed content that highlights an essential matter of our time. While data density makes the book occasionally difficult to read, it does not outweigh the critical importance of the book.”

4-stars **** It is clear that the past generation did not just have things easy for them, but they are unfortunately dismissive of the increased financial strain faced by the younger generation.”

5-stars ***** “The book holds immense value for economists, policymakers, and all those who want to comprehend the UK economic system more deeply. Reading this book presents a difficult yet essential task that demands you face avoided realities while examining the extensive consequences of generational unfairness.”

4-stars **** "Economic gap between generations."

5-stars ***** "This book talked about how the baby boomers milked the younger generation and how they have more say in the voting. The writer made me realize a big part of history I didn't know about."

5-stars ***** "I enjoyed reading this book because the author employed clear language and well-structured arguments, making complex economic concepts understandable. His use of anecdotes alongside statistical evidence enriches the narrative, allowing me to connect emotionally with the material while also grasping its analytical depth”

5-stars ***** I love this book; it underlines the political manipulation and the short-termism that created the systemic inequality between generations.”

5-stars ***** There are so many lies that have been peddled over the years by the media concerning the rise in the living standards of young people in the UK, but this book has shone its light on these untruths and revealed how the ability to make wealth has been taken away from the younger generations and left with the baby boomers.”

5-stars ***** This book is eye-opening, enlightening, and thought-provoking, which I believe were the goals of the author when he put this book together, and these goals were achieved.”

5-stars ***** A lot of research must have gone into writing this book, which I applaud the author for, and it is quite obvious because the author gave different proofs to back his claims in the form of quotes, publications, charts, graphs, and much more.”

5-stars ***** “I love the way the author gave proof and illustrations to support the arguments. There are graphical drawings, mathematical calculations, and links for further reference, all seeking to provide details on the author's arguments.”

5-stars ***** 'Intergenerational Theft' is an exceptional economic book. The messages in the book are very detailed and insightful. I like the book because of the quality of research by the author. I do not find anything to dislike about the book. The title of the book is a positive aspect of the book. There are no negative aspects to the book. The editing is perfect. I rate the book a solid 5 out of 5 stars. Every adult will benefit significantly from the book.”

5-stars ***** I love this book as it provides for the consequences related to intergenerational theft and also proposes the solutions on how young people can deal with the Intergenerational Theft by calling them to action.”

5-stars ***** “I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars as it is a good book and has evidence based points whereby Daniel uses charts, tables and graphs to demonstrate research findings.”

5-stars ***** ““Intergenerational Theft” by Daniel Anthony Harrison is an exciting book that offers a well researched and data-driven analysis of the profound economic injustice facing younger generations in the UK. This literary work by Harrison presents a wise and compelling picture of how government policies have systematically favored the baby boomers (those born between 1946 and 1964) at the expense of younger generations (Generation X, Millennials, and Gen Z).”

4-stars **** “Right in the first pages, the author shows how economic, political, and even environmental choices made in recent decades have created an unfair situation for younger generations. It’s almost as if he were saying: “Look, the world has been rigged against you”, and then he goes on to explain, with data and examples, how all of this happened.”

5-stars ***** “Using a robust evidence-based approach, the author demonstrates that the standard of living for younger generations has continuously declined compared to that of the baby boomers. The younger generations are at the sharp end of the cost of living crisis, struggling with student debts, trapped at home, or paying most of their salaries in extortionate rent for a shared house (with getting on the housing ladder or having children being just out of the question). If you are experiencing the same, then you simply must read this book.”

5-stars ***** The author skilfully exposes the underlying causes of this intergenerational theft imbalance, tracing it back to the deliberate government policies designed to cater to the economic interests of the baby boomer demographic. From housing policies that keep prices higher to pander to the home-owning majority to the triple lock on pensions that saddle future generations with massive debts. This book provides a comprehensive and worrying indictment of the systemic bias inherent in the UK's economic landscape.”

5-stars ***** “Harrison's level of precision and analytical rigor in this literary piece lends credibility and weight to his arguments, making this book an essential reference for anyone seeking to understand and address the profound challenges facing the UK's younger generations.”

5-stars ***** “This book is a must-read for UK's policymakers, economists, academics, and anyone concerned with the long-term well-being and prospects of the UK's youth. I don't have any dislikes about this book; its well-written and exceptional editing makes a strong case for the author's thesis. There are only a few minor errors noted in the book, which do not alter the author's intended message or the flow of information, prompting me to gladly rate this book a deserving 5 out of 5 stars.”

5-stars ***** “The book Intergenerational Theft by Daniel Anthony Harrison is comprehensive in its scope. It goes beyond what its cover promises, introducing topics essential for understanding the economic forces and challenges younger generations face. The author provides cogent, well-supported analyses of how policies and decisions over the past few decades have shaped the struggles of young people.”

4-stars **** "I really enjoyed how straightforward Harrison was with the book. The author didn't beat around the bush while trying to prove a point. The facts stated made me pause and think. The charts and tables made the evidence more realistic. It was good to know that the author didn't only complain but also provided some tips on what to do in a world like this. I really appreciate coming across books like this."

5-stars ***** The book is an excellent read because it explains, in clear and concise language, why things are so much harder for young people today. It supports its claims with well-cited, independent evidence throughout. What amazes me most is how thoroughly the author connects various economic forces, illustrating how they influence our lives.”

5-stars ***** I appreciate the book’s tone, which is unapologetically critical yet hopeful. The author not only highlights the problems but also proposes practical solutions, calling for bold changes to address intergenerational inequities. I especially liked how the author explained the barriers between the older and younger generations. Harrison details how policy biases against younger people have resulted in an enormous wealth transfer from the young to the older generation, leaving the former with limited say and reduced life chances.”

4-stars **** “In the end, Intergenerational Theft is a great book, one that stays with you even after you’ve closed the last page. It informs you and, in a way, makes you rethink the way you see the economy and even your own future.”

5-stars ***** "Intergenerational Theft by Daniel Harrison is an eye-opening book that exposes how governments and politicians use economic policies to secure re-election, often without considering the damage these policies cause to ordinary citizens. These decisions have contributed to the high cost of living among the citizens in the lower class and also brought about the big gap between the rich and the poor. How does the government cause these effects? How can citizens prevent it from continuing to occur? All these questions are answered by the author in the book Intergenerational Theft."

5-stars ***** "What makes the book particularly engaging is how Harrison blends hard data with personal stories and observations. I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars for being readable, engaging, and educational. I recommend it to anyone interested in societal and economic changes and to those who believe their actions can reshape relationships between generations, fostering hope for a better future.”

5-stars ***** “I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to readers seeking an insightful analysis of generational inequality, exploring economic disparities and advocating for fairness between Baby Boomers and younger generations.”

4-stars **** "Now, what is the content about? And why did I find it so magnificent? First, and in the author's own words, I will summarise it: "This book aims to show the young why their future has been stolen from them and what they might be able to do about it." Throughout it, we will see a truly incredible work of politics, macroeconomics, and sociology that has not been seen until now and that will provide certain solutions to the major problems we young people face today, among others, when it comes to being independent and having a comfortable life on our own. Thanks to it, we can understand the reasons for the current crises, the problem with population pyramids in developed countries, and how the existence of the baby boom generation, to which our parents and/or grandparents belong, has significantly affected the economic security of today's youth."

5-stars ***** “5 out of 5 stars because it effectively exposes how the intergenerational social contract is broken and the pandering to the baby boomer generation."

5-stars ***** The book also takes apart the ‘Ponzi property’ model by analyzing how the real estate market serves older generations and offers bankruptcy or substandard housing to younger people. Furthermore, whereas neoliberal orthodoxy posited an agenda of continually enhanced standards of living, it exposes how successive policies have systematically negatively affected young generations.”

5-stars ***** "I would rate the book 5 out of 5 stars. There is nothing I dislike about the book. It is well edited, as I found no typing errors. I can recommend it to younger generations, as it equips them with knowledge to reclaim their future. I also recommend it to baby boomers, as it sheds light on how past choices have shaped today’s challenges and encourages openness to reforms that can safeguard tomorrow's economic stability."

5-stars ***** “I was very much elated to have read Intergenerational Theft by Daniel Harrison. It's a great book, and it has a lot to talk about.“

5-stars ***** I really liked how the author didn’t just talk about the problems; he also shared ideas on how to make the future better. The author encouraged young people to get involved in politics to learn how the government works to help create change. The book talks about national debt, taxes, and inflation. The author explains them in simple terms, which makes it easy to understand and very commendable. Instead of just blaming others, he teaches that everyone needs to work together to fix these problems. This made the book very interesting.”

4-stars **** "In the end, Intergenerational Theft is a great book, one that stays with you even after you’ve closed the last page. It informs you and, in a way, makes you rethink the way you see the economy and even your own future. I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars. Despite being an excellent book, there are some points, especially in the writing, that could be polished. I’d also recommend it to young people who are just starting adult life and realizing the difficulties they’ll have to face in order to achieve a perfect life."

5-stars ***** I got to learn how the government of the United Kingdom runs its people. I also liked how the author is open to speaking the truth about the government, which is a rare topic to be mentioned by the majority. It is a nice thing to speak out about the things people are facing in order to come out with a discussion or rather a solution.”

5-stars ***** The book Intergenerational Theft by Daniel Anthony Harrison is comprehensive in its scope. It goes beyond what its cover promises, introducing topics essential for understanding the economic forces and challenges younger generations face. The author provides cogent, well-supported analyses of how policies and decisions over the past few decades have shaped the struggles of young people.”

5-stars ***** This is quite an amazing book with so much revelation of the intergenerational theft that is going on. There are lots more that would awe you as you read further.”

4-stars **** "What hit me most is how he said governments keep pandering to older voters by giving them stuff like the “triple lock” on pensions while we get student loans and insane rent, I felt like the book was calling out the exact scam we are living in."

5-stars ***** I did not find anything to dislike in this book. It is very informative, educational, well-edited, and simple to understand. The charts and examples used in the book helped me understand some things without feeling confused. I found no errors in the book.”

5-stars ***** I learned new insights and refreshed my understanding of political and economic trends and principles that I had either forgotten or not fully grasped before. The book is an excellent read because it explains, in clear and concise language, why things are so much harder for young people today. It supports its claims with well-cited, independent evidence throughout. What amazes me most is how thoroughly the author connects various economic forces, illustrating how they influence our lives.”

4-stars **** "What struck me the most about the book is the clarity with which he explains complicated subjects. Topics like inequality, public debt, and the housing market are usually boring to read about, but here the writing is light, full of everyday examples, which makes everything much easier to understand."

5-stars ***** “I must commend the author of this book for the wonderful insights.”

5-stars ***** "I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars for its flawless presentation and its powerful, intellectual, and moral messages about political rights and the future of society. It is one of the best nonfiction books I have ever read. I highly recommend it to lovers of nonfiction, politics, finance, and debate—and especially to young readers and citizens of the United Kingdom."

4-stars **** "It is a fact that past generations are leaving current generations without the economic means to be independent, forcing them to pay for their pensions through a bureaucratic system that protects them with excessive taxes, bringing the current economy to the brink of crisis."

5-stars ***** The analysis of the shifting affluence between recent generations in Britain is particularly striking.”

5-stars ***** I would rate this book five out of five stars. I also would recommend this book to those interested in politics and economics.”

5-stars ***** “I appreciate the book’s tone, which is unapologetically critical yet hopeful. 5-stars ***** "It's an excellent book and I recommend it to the young generation."

5-stars ***** "My rating is 5 out of 5. I give it a perfect score mainly because of the importance of this book; even with my suggestions for improvement this did not detract from the stars since I believe everyone should read this book. This sentence for me is the feeling after reading the book: my generation probably won't be able to leave anything to their children if they have any."

5-stars ***** "The book was professionally edited, and I did not find any errors. It pushes readers to face difficult truths about the choices that shape our shared future. Hence, I rate this book 5 out of 5."

5-stars ***** "One of the admirable aspects of this book is the author’s exceptional effort to support his arguments with accurate data, facts, and truths. Taking a decade to complete, the book's content is both fascinating and profound, and the emotional intensity throughout his writing is striking. The inclusion of historical facts, tables, charts, and relevant examples by the author—an economist and entrepreneur—is commendable."

5-stars ***** “I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars because it is well-written, thoroughly researched, and has no noticeable errors. The book is educational; the author did a wonderful job. I recommend the book to anyone interested in understanding how economic policies impact future generations.”

5-stars ***** "Rating: 5/5 for how error-free this book is, its factual nature, smoothness, and truthfulness."

5-stars ***** "Economically, our generation (I'm 26 years old and I consider myself Gen Z) is being robbed of the right to own a home and reach milestones. Daniel Anthony Harrison helps us understand that currently the life milestones are not as they used to be before 1970."

5-stars ***** "What do you think your future is like? The author gives us an interesting view how our future has been robbed of us by government policies. This is all done to ensure that the politicians are re-elected again. How do we overcome this? The author explains all of this in his story."

4-stars **** "I was drawn to this book, Intergenerational Theft by Daniel Harrison, by the book cover with its bold claim of a £15 trillion policy bias favoring the baby boomers at the expense of the younger generation. I was really curious to see what this book had to offer as someone who has noticed the rising cost of things hitting my wallet. At times I keep wondering why things were far better in the old days compared to now. This book exposes everything. This is a nonfiction book produced from various research. Harrison starts by diving into the big idea of how the government is tilting wealth to older folks, leaving younger generations to suffer. Harrison talks about issues of housing, debt, pensions, and even climate issues, sharing ideas from facts derived from research."

5-stars ***** "This book is an eye-opener. The author didn't lie when he mentioned how the young ones are labeled snowflakes. These Baby Boomers are mean as hell, and it's so sad to see that they heavily exist and are still existing without remorse for what they are doing to the young generation. The term "Rent is Theft" was nothing but fact, and I loved that the author didn't hesitate to state his reasons, with proofs attached. I didn't dislike any part of the book."

5-stars ***** "I will give this book five out of five stars because of how clearly written it is. Mind you, the book carries a lot of information, but I can assure you that there is absolutely nothing confusing about the narration of the book, nor the structure of the book."

4-stars **** "I appreciate the author's significant research in demonstrating with figures the seriousness of the issue and the reason behind complaints about why it is now more difficult to achieve quality of life even though people are working harder."

5-stars ***** "I enjoyed reading this book because I came to understand many aspects of government and history that I never knew or thought about before. I admire the research put into writing this book. I love that the writer is bold enough to state these points, which were all very impactful."

4-stars **** "Intergenerational Theft by Daniel Anthony Harrison is a social critique, backed by in-depth research, of those born between 1946 and 1964, known as baby boomers, who took early retirement and engaged in excessive consumerism, forcing subsequent generations to pay off their debt to the state."

5-stars ***** "What I liked the most in this book is that the author clearly shows the long-term impact of ignoring the problem, explaining how years of inaction have led to a crisis that is both environmental and financial for today’s youth. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to link different issues that may not seem connected at first, and he draws a clear connection between student fees and privatization, showing how changes in public funding have shaped economic policies and public attitudes. His analysis of PFI schemes serves as a warning about the risks of choosing short-term political gains over long-term stability."

4-stars **** "This book exposes everything. This is a nonfiction book produced from various research. Harrison starts by diving into the big idea of how the government is tilting wealth to older folks, leaving younger generations to suffer. Harrison talks about issues of housing, debt, pensions, and even climate issues, sharing ideas from facts derived from research. Harrison shares hints on how to handle matters like this."

5-stars ***** "Daniel Anthony Harrison’s Intergenerational Theft is a compelling nonfiction book that exposes the injustices perpetrated by the UK government, which, through its policies, lavishes the older generation (baby boomers) with incredible opportunities and vast wealth, to the detriment of younger and future generations."

5-stars ***** "The rating I give to "Intergenerational Theft" stands at 5 out of 5 stars. The book delivers powerful, research-backed content that highlights an essential matter of our time. While data density makes the book occasionally difficult to read, it does not outweigh the critical importance of the book.”

5-stars ***** "Imagine standing at the edge of a dense forest, where towering trees stand tall despite the scars left by past storms, still offering shade and protection to everything beneath them. In "Intergenerational Theft," Daniel Harrison uses this forest as a powerful symbol for the choices made by past generations—decisions that have provided comfort and security for some while leaving younger and working-age people to deal with the consequences."

5-stars ***** "He explains how politicians manipulate the media to spread propaganda, keeping citizens unaware of how their decisions undermine future generations. The author educates the young generation on how their future has been stolen away from them and what they can do to protect it from worsening."

5-stars ***** " I think that all advocates and policymakers should read this book since ultimately, current policies will weaken the fabric of society by continuing to hollow out the middle class, damage the environment, and drain younger workers to fund a pension system that might not be sustainable."

4-stars **** "I really enjoyed how straightforward Harrison was with the book. The author didn't beat around the bush while trying to prove a point. The facts stated made me pause and think. I really appreciate coming across books like this."

5-stars ***** "The author uses a lot of data to make the case that even in areas such as privatization and the environment, the UK government's policies have essentially robbed young people of the ability to create real wealth even though they are generally more educated than their parents, work longer hours, and usually have a partner who is also working full-time. The author uses statistics and charts to substantiate every point that they make about policy and how it is biased to encourage the political support of voters who were born in the 1950s."

5-stars ***** "Intergenerational Theft by Daniel Anthony Harrison is a book that talks about the unfair economic policy that enriches the Baby Boomer generation at the expense of the younger generations. The author carefully analyzed the breakdown of the alleged theft of about £15 trillion. "

5-stars ***** “What makes the book particularly engaging is how Harrison blends hard data with personal stories and observations. I recommend it to anyone interested in societal and economic changes and to those who believe their actions can reshape relationships between generations, fostering hope for a better future.”

5-stars ***** "I found nothing to dislike about this book. The writer made the grammar understandable. While reading, I came to understand that the generational theft by the baby boomers was a known fact, and even some baby boomers agreed to it. I found no grammatical errors while reading, which indicates proper editing. I will rate this book a five out of five stars."

5-stars ***** "This book was very impactful, as I learned some important parts of history I didn't know about. The writer made sure to use data, charts, and plots to explain most things. I learned more about why things are the way they are, especially things concerning debts, assets, and job opportunities."

5-stars ***** "What really stood out to me in this book is the author's relentless, data-centric approach to a subject much-focused anecdotally by nature. Harrison does not shy away from provocative language, describing the situation as a "Ponzi scheme" and "theft." Harrison swiftly underscores the urgency and scale of the problem as he sees it. He carefully breaks down the crisis, such as the calculated lifetime of housing. The book's pacing was smooth, beginning in a personal and emotional tone, then shifting to a methodical, heavy rhythm as the author begins to dedicate separate chapters for analyzing areas of intergenerational injustice."

5-stars ***** "This book by Daniel Harrison is more than just a critique; it’s a well-structured account of how one generation’s success has often come at the cost of another’s struggles"

5-stars ***** "What I liked about this book is that the author not only criticizes and lays complaints, but he also provides accurate solutions to these problems after calculated exercises. There was nothing to dislike about this book. The book was well written with no errors despite the complex calculations. I therefore give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to readers who are interested in a deep and comprehensive analysis of intergenerational inequality in the UK."

5-stars ***** "This book was very impactful. I will recommend this book to people who want to learn more about the baby boomers' theft and why the younger generations after them are included in a lot of debt just after being born."

5-stars ***** "Even if it is incredibly dense, the book flows well. Before moving into a thorough, evidence-based analysis, it begins with a personal, sentimental tone. I really appreciated how the author also offers solutions that involve genuine efforts and proper implementations, instead of just criticizing. Harrison also calls for younger generations to take action and gain agency over the situation as much as possible, and as someone in that age gap, I could only relate to this call to action."

5-stars ***** "I liked several things about this book and gave it 5 stars out of 5. To an extent, it's eye-opening. Society often berates young people for not owning a home as soon as their parents did and in fact there are even movies that make a joke of those who cannot afford to move out or rent a home that is similar to the standard of that enjoyed by their parents. This book clearly explains why that is so and shows how it may very well continue to be so for the children of young people who are struggling to make ends meet now. It is definitely a policy issue and when the statistics are carefully examined, it's difficult to deny."

5-stars ***** "While reading, I came to understand that the generational theft by the baby boomers was a known fact, and even some baby boomers agreed to it. I found no grammatical errors while reading, which indicates proper editing. I will rate this book a five out of five stars."

5-stars ***** "This book stands out for its unrelenting use of data. Harrison backs up his claims with more than 50 charts and tables, government reports, and in-depth research. The data may feel overwhelming, but it serves as evidence to sustain the claims without twisting them. The author demonstrates how the structural disadvantages we currently face were caused by the actions of previous generations by tying together housing, taxes, pensions, debt, education expenses, and even climate change."

5-stars ***** "I would recommend this book to people who love reading about the government and history, and I must say that this book is not limited to newer generations, because baby boomers also need to have a copy."

5-stars ***** "I love the educational value that the book brings. Intergenerational Theft by Daniel Harrison is a recommended book for everyone, as it is an eye-opener to the challenges everyone faces. Daniel has told us who to blame for our poor pockets."

4-stars **** "This book kept showing me in simple numbers why my life feels harder than what my parents had, the author breaks down how baby boomers could buy a house at 4x their salary while now it’s 8x and both partners have to work just to survive, and I was like yeah that explains why everyone I know is either renting forever or still stuck with their parents."

The book's central theme was that since the 1980s, a series of government decisions influenced by the demographic and political power of older voters has created a Ponzi economy. This causes a high increase in the cost of housing, almost tripling the relative salaries of the individual; pensions are unfunded, and the national debt has drastically increased. Harrison will go on to support his claim with extensive data, tables, and charts from other sources. He concludes by stating that these challenges have resulted in the declining birth rate and standard of living for younger people."

5-stars ***** "This book is difficult to read. Primarily because the evidence presented shows that there definitely is a strong bias towards baby boomers in terms of economic policy. On deeper analysis, this bias and some of the problems created by the free market system seem to exist outside of the United Kingdom as well. It has dire implications for future generations, since young people who are currently working and would be expected to fund many of the programs that help to keep society stable, are struggling financially. Taxes paid by young people help to fund a lot of the programs that currently benefit older people."

5-stars ***** "I therefore give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to readers who are interested in a deep and comprehensive analysis of intergenerational inequality in the UK."

5-stars ***** "All things considered, Intergenerational Theft is a well-written and thoroughly researched work which aligns with many empiric observations. Despite its numerous charts and dense content, I found it incredibly easy to read, and a great recommendation for people who want to have a deeper understanding of generational inequality. I did not find any mistakes, only some sentences were a little long for my liking. I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 because of its undeniable qualities."

5-stars ***** "Every single word in the book is the pure truth, and I think I had been blind to not recognize Baby Boomers before now, but now, I feel my eyes have been opened. I think it will be the same for every young person who picks up this book to read. I loved the author's touch on poverty, rent, mortgage, and other essential parts. The tax part was engaging and truthful."

5-stars ***** "The title is very impactful, as is the content. I mean INTERGENERATIONAL THEFT: The £15 TRILLION UK Government Policy Bias That Makes Baby Boomers Undeservingly Rich By Stealing From Generation X, Gen Y (Millennials), Gen Z (Zoomers) & Future Generations is a really interesting title. In my opinion, anyone between 25 and 35 years old should read it."

5-stars ***** "I found this to be a real 5-star read: eye-opening, powerful, with so much to think about. Superbly recommended!"

5-stars ***** "This evidence-based masterpiece concretely proves through countless tables, charts and reputable sources, that the blame for falling living standards is definitively caused by decades of government favoring the baby boomers at the expense of young working people."

5-stars ***** "If you're into social justice, economics, or if you simply want to learn why things seem so hard these days for the young, then this is your book. Equally perfect for teachers and policy makers wanting to make some sense out of this mess we find ourselves in."

5-stars ***** "It's raw; it's honest. The frustration and anger of youth who have to clean up after a financial mess-now that brought me right back to how it was, trying to make ends meet in a system that's against you."

5-stars ***** "Highly recommended, if you want to truly understand why the economy is rigged against the young."

5-stars ***** "This book really goes deep into the wealth gap between generations, showing how laws and changes in society have been made to help the baby boomers while leaving the rest of us behind. Discussion of unaffordable housing, precarious jobs, and other broader economic challenges facing us today really hit home."

5-stars ***** "It’s a damning indictment of our news agenda that this massive issue doesn’t get the coverage it deserves. "

5-stars ***** "Most stuck with me-the way he simplified it all, even the most complicated economic notions, into a very understandable, relatable manner via straightforward writings and sound research. In his arguments, he supports his say with facts, which to me created quite a bit of confidence in his arguments. This is analytical but not at all dry, which, let's be real, is no easy feat to achieve."

5-stars ***** "I loved reading the book."

5-stars ***** "Needs to be said."

5-stars ***** "A very necessary read for everyone."  ...and this is from a baby boomer!
